How do I add a tile?
Adding a Tile is Easy as 1... 2... 3...
Step 1:
Move your mouse around an open area of the mosaic, and click where you would like your tile placed. Create your tile by selecting the tile size, where you would like your tile, enter the name, info, and bio for the tile. At this point you will be able to preview your tile's popup look.
Step 2:
Enter your name and e-mail address (so that I can match it up with the donation e-mail I receive from the LAF - know that I will never pass your e-mail along to anyone). And then click the "Browse" button to find the photo you want to submit. This is also when you tell me which person in the pic is the honoree so I can crop the image correctly.
Step 3:
Make your donation by either visiting my Lance Armstrong Foundation fund-raising site (the easiest and fastest way to get your tile posted) or by printing a PDF donation form and sending a check to the LAF.
Where does the money go?
All donations are payable directly to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and are tax deductible*. You can either pay by credit card via my fundraising site, or you can donate by check by printing this donation form and following its instructions. To place a tile, I must see the donation appear in my fund-raising account.
What donation amount is required to place a tile?
A $10 tax deductible* donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) is required for each 20x20 pixel tile in the mosaic. You are more than welcome to donate more than $10 for a tile, or to buy more than one tile if you have a few people you would like to honor, remember, or support.
How big can I make a tile?
Since the idea of THECANCERMOSAIC is to create a larger image from smaller pieces, the largest tile that will be placed will be a 40 x 40 pixel image. While it would be great if someone donated $2,000 - 1000 x 1000 pixels worth - I don't want one photo to dominate the mosaic...
How many photos can I send?
You can send as many photos in as you would like... in the example above, you would be more than welcome to send in 25 photos that I'll resize to 40 x 40 pixels and will then place in the mosaic, but I'd appreciate it if you would send in photos of different people, not 25 of the same person. Again - similar to why I'm not going to tile dominating photos in, I'd like to have as many different people represented.
Can I make a tile from my company logo?
While I'd love the support and I know the LAF would love the donation, I'd like to keep the mosaic to be just faces. I will be making a "Corporate Support" thank you page. If your company is looking for a tax deductible* donation, please donate to the LAF viamy fundraising site, or by check by printing this donation form and following its instructions. Once your donation posts to my fund-raising account, I'll be more than happy to add your company name to the corporate support page. What if I don't have a photo to send, can I still donate?

My company does Corporate Matching of employee donations, can the LAF accept this?
YES! There are instructions on this donation form. Please print it out and follow its instructions.
